CrossFit Sudbury – 25012018 – DT/Double DT

Hey Folks!

Great work today!  Lots of mental testing went DOWN.  It was a challenge and a half to get those thrusters unbroken.  Kudos to Trista, Colin and Lisa (that I witnessed) for going unbroken, and almost unbroken – respect!

Coaches Notes:

Either crank out DT on your own (if you want to re-test it, last done July 20th, 2017), or pair up with a partner and alternate rounds for Double DT. I do not recommend doing double DT on your own unless you can do normal DT in less than 6 minutes.  You’ll probably have time for a solid warm up and cool down, or some extra work.

Benchmark – “DT”:

Five rounds of:
•155/105 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
•155/105 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
•155/105 pound Push jerk, 6 reps
Goal – test out a benchmark WOD!  You’ll likely drop at 11 deads, and 8 cleans, then do the jerks unbroken.

Partner WOD – “Double DT”

10 rounds for time of:
• 12 deadlifts
• 9 hang power cleans
• 6 push jerks
Men use 155 lb., women use 105 lb.
*Alternate rounds
Goal – Have a blast with a friend.  Push yourself to go completely unbroken each round, since you know you’ll be getting rest.
