CrossFit Sudbury – 05012018 – Not a Relaxing EMOM

Alllllright.  More Cold brew is on the way!  I’ve also put in an order for more pink drink and chocolate protein powder 🙂

You might have noticed the Infinit “Raw” Whey up on the top of the shelving with the other protein and recovery.  We aren’t getting rid of the Biosteel protein (because it’s delicious), but I know it is a little pricier, so I picked up Infinit’s “Raw” whey.  All that’s in it is Whey, some cocoa or vanilla, and a tiny amount of stevia.  It ends up being priced a little cheaper than the Biosteel Whey, so it’s a super high quality protein at a cheaper price point.  Check it out if you’re interested! 🙂

Coaches Notes:

Work up to, and then max out your Clean & Jerk! 🙂  As usual, if you feel like you’ve been beaten up with a phone book, maybe dial it back a bit and save it for another day, otherwise – get out there and smash some weights.  Should be a challenging EMOM – Work to maintain a steady pace, leaving yourself 10-20 seconds rest each minute.

Testing – 1RM Clean & Jerk

Spend some solid time working up to a 1RM Clean & Jerk

Conditioning – “Not a relaxing EMOM”

EMOM 14 minutes
odd- 30 DU (max 30 seconds) + 8 OHS (95/65)
even- 10/8 cal row + 5 Box jumps (24/20) *Careful on that first jump!

Score is how awesome you felt during/afterwards.
