Hey Folks!

Great work today – The pseudo chipper style was great.  If it were only two of the four movements, it would have made for a far less fun workout.

We’re into our last week of “summer vacation” – the kids are going back.  That means buses on the streets (and kids!  Drive slowly – kids are unpredictable sometimes!), which means it’ll take you a little longer to get to the gym.  Plan for a few extra minutes of travel time.

September is also a pseudo “new years”, which means i’m sure many of you are thinking about what you’d like to achieve before the end of the year.  Let me/us know if we can help with that!  We can get you set up with some chiro to straighten out how you move, some nutrition if you need a kick to eat better, or even some physio/massage to fix/manage some tight spots!

This is an OLD “documentary” about Pottenger’s cats.  Do you see any parallels to current society?  Why would that be?

Coaches Notes:

You guys are about to build some hammies/glutes!  It’s going to be a good one.  You’ll have the rest before the box jump overs, so that should inspire some confidence – but if you need to, reduce the box height before you reduce the weight on the bar 🙂  If you’re weirded out by the back foot elevated on the bulgarian deadlifts, you can just do single leg deadlifts (letting the back leg drift behind you, like when we do toe touches).

6 one leg box jump (Pick a low box or a weight plate/stack to jump on. Don’t bail – your leg will be tired out).

*Do entire set on one leg then do the other
leg.
*5 sets/leg
