2013 – Let’s make it great!

Are you tired of chasing health and fitness?  Tired of slogging through boring workouts that challenge your determination to make it to the gym more than your physical and mental abilities?  It doesn’t have to be this way!

At CrossFit Sudbury we constantly challenge our abilities through gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing, and many other training implements.  It’s hard work, but that’s what you signed up for – More importantly, it’s fun and it’s in a great atmosphere that you’ll actually enjoy coming to.  You’ll find yourself among those who have a hard time NOT coming to the gym.

Instilling change in our lives is the most challenging part of making new habits – and I can tell you, through experience and through reading the scientific literature, that making change is exponentially easier when you enjoy what you’ve started.  Our gym is a paradox in that you’ll curse how it challenges you while wishing you were there to do it again.

So, for 2013, don’t bother making changes you won’t keep, and don’t bother forcing yourself to do anything you won’t enjoy.

Here are my challenges to you:

  • Try CrossFit – You’ll surprise yourself with your strengths and improve any weaknesses you may have

  • Ensure you’re moving well – See a Chiropractor, a Physiotherapist and/or massage therapist and address your small aches, pains and tissue limitations

I’m available for questions, comments or for more formal help in these areas.  Don’t let “what if”, or “yeah, but…” stop you from making good change in your life.  I can address most of these issues and we can get you on the right track.  Use me as the resource I am.

All the best for a healthy, happy 2013!

p.s. I’m often preaching to the choir (people who already practice the recommendations above), but if you know someone who could benefit from it, share the link on their facebook wall, email it to them or print it out and give it to them – I’d be honoured to help out those you love with their health as well!
